Induction Process for New Faculty Members

 

      Requirements:  FY faculty members will

 

·        attend all Title III workshops;

·        participate in videotaping and self-assessment each semester;

·        participate in classroom observation and conferencing each semester;

·        meet individually with mentors;

·        participate in informational/discussion meetings on various topics.

November                    Luncheon for mentors and mentees

 

January             Meeting to discuss student course evaluation and

                                    prepare for the annual faculty evaluation process

 

Feb./March                  Meeting(s) to complete faculty evaluation materials for

                                    submission to VPAA   

 

 

Mentors are also encouraged to arrange additional meetings and to participate in

activities of new faculty induction as often as possible.
